Esther Robinson Wild

Esther Robinson Wild is an Historic Environment Consultant providing specialist expert advice on historic environment-related matters, including planning and funding options affecting listed buildings, historic buildings and places, conservation areas and archaeological sites.

Esther also has a finance background having worked for over 10 years as an Analyst in various City of London-based financial institutions.

As a Project Manager at the Architectural Heritage Fund, Esther assisted the charity with the establishment of its £7 million ‘Heritage Impact Fund’, and its £15 million ‘Transforming Places Through Heritage’ Programme. This Programme forms part of the UK Government's ‘Future High Streets Fund’ administered by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.

Esther is a member of the Board of Directors of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA) and Treasurer of the CIfA Buildings Archaeology Special Interest Group. She is also an Affiliate of The Institute of Historic Building Conservation.

Esther sits on several panels and committees including The Twentieth Century Society's Casework Committee and the Foundation for Jewish Heritage's International Advisory Panel.

Esther has a MA in the Archaeology of Buildings from the University of York where she is currently an Honorary Research Associate in the Department of Archaeology.
