Lord Daniel Finkelstein OBE

Daniel Finkelstein, a graduate of the London School of Economics and City University London, is a leading British journalist and politician.

Daniel has held various key advisory roles within the Conservative Party including being Director of the Conservative Research Department. He was also Director of the Social Market Foundation think tank and is a former Chairman of Policy Exchange.

Daniel was Editor of Connexion - Britain's first internet and data communications newspaper. He became Executive Editor of The Times, and remains Associate Editor and a weekly political columnist. He also has a regular column in The Jewish Chronicle.

In 1997, Daniel was awarded an OBE. In 2011, he was the Political Studies Association Journalist of the Year and was given an Honorary Doctor of Science degree by City University.

Daniel was made a life peer as Baron Finkelstein of Pinner in 2013.
