Rt Hon Jim Murphy

The Right Honourable Jim Murphy is a former Cabinet Minister in the UK Government who has held multiple Ministerial portfolios and was a Member of Parliament from 1997-2015.

He served in both Tony Blair's and Gordon Brown's governments in senior roles including Minister of State for Employment and Welfare Reform and Minister of State for Europe. He has chaired a myriad of public and government bodies.

He is a recognised problem solver with exceptional communication skills, possesses a range of contacts across the political and public policy arena and is also a member of Her Majesty's Privy Council.
