
Laura Schwartz
Laura Schwartz is a cultural and heritage professional specialising in Jewish heritage and international cultural cooperation.
She has worked across the cultural and heritage sectors for over fifteen years, notably as Cultural Attaché at the French Institute in Israel and as Editor-in-Chief of The Cultural Guide to Jewish Europe, dedicated to documenting and promoting Jewish heritage and culture across Europe.
In 2024, she served as a consultant to UNESCO on the protection and preservation of Jewish cultural heritage worldwide, contributing to a joint UNESCO–World Monuments Fund initiative examining the challenges and needs surrounding Jewish heritage sites internationally.
She is also a jury member for the 2026 Simone Veil Prize, a European award celebrating Jewish cultural heritage as a vital part of Europe’s shared story, serving in the Culture & Heritage category.
