The Council of Europe Culture Committee agreed to undertake an investigation into the state of Jewish heritage preservation across Europe today. The Foundation for Jewish Heritage was appointed the expert body to assist the process and, in this role, was asked to prepare the draft Report. Foundation Chair Dame Helen Hyde DBE, accompanied by Chief Executive Michael Mail, attended a recent meeting of the Culture Committee in Granada Spain in order to present formally the draft Report to the Committee and answer questions. The Report was well received and led to a lively discussion.
